CON-AID / CBR PLUS treated soils become hydrophobic, meaning water is repelled rather than absorbed. The treated roads do not deteriorate and remain trafficable even during heavy rainfall. Dust is reduced by up to 90%, improving safety and visibility while drastically cutting grading and maintenance costs.
The result is a stabilized road layer that is far less sensitive to moisture, easier to work with, and can be compacted to a better particle-interlock state by equipment and traffic forces.
The treatment is permanent. Vehicle traffic will further compact the treated section over time, increasing density and strength, meaning higher internal friction and improved bearing capacity.
